The release is being delayed: Good or Bad?
Thank you for all your comments. We are very proud to hear that our Flash CMS Platform is that much awaited, and at the same time we feel really uncomfortable for making you wait.
We regret to inform you that it was decided to delay the release date a bit. It’s not about the software is not ready yet, or has some major bugs. Everything is fine and works just as good as expected! We just want to spend time optimizing our shopping cart and reworking the whole Ecommerce module.
We are very sorry for making you wait but FancyCMS is an open source project, and we really want developers to have a fun time dealing with it. That is why our beloved platform needs to be released in its best shape!
The release date is 5th of January! Hope you’re even more excited now! Sincere apologies to everyone involved.

I will be waiting eagerly for it’s release, it’s better to wait for a finished product rather than rushed & full of bugs. I just hope you guys will have a WYSIWYG editor within the browser.

You will have a chance to migrate your website but can’t export your content. So you will need to add your content once again.

That’s what we’ve been thinking of. It’s way better to release something stable then buggy.

Forgo the e-commerce for now, ship something stable, and release the e-commerce later as an extension.
If your CMS allows content to be configured and modeled, then a shopping cart becomes just a specialized workflow.

Hi to all,
I probably misexplained myself here. I know they do their best and all of us are absolutely grateful for that. The only thing is that with a better communication, we can take on our side more accurate decisions about projects. I’m ready to wait as long as necessary of course, but please let’s communicate so we are not in the blur.
