FancyCMS core released next week!
Firstly I would like to say thank you to everyone who was patiently waiting, while we were breaking all the assigned deadlines ![]()
And finally, Fancy Flash CMS open source core is ready and currently passes the QA team!
As we have promised before – the core will be released under a free license for private usage and under commercial license for any profit-oriented needs! Here’s the quick guide into licensing:
Free License / Commercial License
| Free License | Commercial License |
|
Fancy CMS opensource core and demo templates (further called "FancyCMS") are contributed no charge for private non-profit use only. – You are free to modify/customize FancyCMS and publish it in the Internet for online access; Fancy CMS copyrights cannot be removed under any circumstances from the FREE version of Fancy CMS |
The commercial use of FancyCMS requires to purchase a License from us. FancyCMS-Basic: This license allows you to implement FancyCMS for one website only (under one domain name). FancyCMS-Developer: Allows to implement FancyCMS for multiple websites, as well as develop & sell your own templates together with the FancyCMS core. This applies to any kind of usage for commercial benefit: online commerce, making money in placing advertisements or advertising own services or products. |
As far as you can see two flash cms templates that we have showcased earlier will be contributed under the same license. If you have any questions in regards to licensing – please leave them in comments.
We’re also going to launch a discussion board to support our core and discuss any bugs you may find.

Yeahh open source core (the trap) ! pfff in any way unusable for non coders without the admin interface. I suspect still an exorbitant price for a product which will remain beta until the end… because of course, they will calculate their own price on their competitors, them even already too expensive. Always, the same story…

Why is it a trap? We’re posting tutorials on how to customize it via XML, and they are very detailed. After all, you can ask questions and we’ll be glad to answer them!
And now the core is out! So you can quit spreading those rumors about the beta, for the final product with admin interface will soon be released!
Back then some people said that FancyCMS will not be released at all
