Dont waste your time. Apparently the media library file does NOT work, which is where you have to access the files in order to change them according to someone else on the forum. 

 

Maybe if these guys would actually post information like that, people wouldnt be wasting precious time working with a program they cant finish anything with. Not to mention that it takes them days to answer even the most basic question, so I'm not really sure how important they consider any of our input, because I've brought a number of things to their attention, and all I get are one line answers that do not actually answer anything. 

At the very least they should be up here a few times a day answering questions, or telling us whats going on. Considering alot of the post are months old… doesnt say much for them.

Don't bother following the directions as this does not address the banner file that is loading halfway down the page on the right panel in the fashion template. Don't know who this AFI guy is, but if he's an admin, he needs to stay off the board if he doesnt have a clue what people are asking.

To update the banner you should 1. open UFashion page edit dialog 2. Select the second panel and open edit dialog as well. 3.  Edit simple text block body(just find the icon of existing flash banner, remove it, add your own swf/jpg/png file using "add image" tool). I've checked all your 15 posts and found nothing but dumb questions and stupid advices. "Dont follow, dont use, does not work…" whats wrong man? what are you doing here? I am a flash developper looking for some tools that could hopefully make things easier for me. Whats your purpose? Shit posting and black PR?

Shit posting and black PR? So expecting the devs on this site to actually ADDRESS questions, concerns and completely USELESS manuals, help files and documentation is shit posting? ANSWER the questions. Why do you, or the devs if you are not one, expect people to sit here for weeks waiting for SIMPLE damn answers to questions? Can you explain that one? 

 

I too am looking for info, and a program that does what it says. People need to stop telling people to edit with this API as you cannot edit with it, you cannot check or uncheck assets in the media library, and you cannot access some of the media files. 

 

As to you post to digitalman showing him/her how to fix the banner problem. IT DOES NOT WORK. YOU CANNOT LOAD A VIDEO FILE INTO THE MODULE ACCORDING TO WHAT IT SAYS. You can load images… but NOT .swf or video files. So AGAIN… if you do not know what your talking about… why are you responding to people? Or do you just not check the answers you give to see if they actually work?

and you want to know why I'm frustrated and complaining? Wow.

No need to get frustrated. I've worked with open source people before, and they just don't get in any rush…lol. I will admit that these guys need to start talking to people more… and make some of the simpler stuff work better, but the program has got a lot of potential.
